Meet Our Equine Assisted Learning Horses
Habib
Habib is an 8-year-old pure Arabian gelding who grew up almost untouched in a herd of horses on large acreage in the Toowoomba area until Xmas day 2022 when he moved down to the Northern Rivers to start his training as a riding horse with a beautiful young female trainer. His training progressed much faster than expected.
Habib has been jumping up to 60cm at large shows and happily participating in 40km endurance rides while travelling like a pro in large horse trucks. He is one of the sweetest and most willing horses one could imagine, everyone who knows him agrees. He is fully dedicated to being of service and has fluidly expanded into his work of Equine Facilitated Learning.
Arabia
Arabia is a 5-year-old Arabian cross Appaloosa mare. She loves kisses more than anything else! Although physically she is a horse, she considers herself to be a German Shepherd who would like to go anywhere her humans are going. She would walk up onto the back porch if she was allowed. She is super bright, quirky, playful and wants to meet everyone every time. I have never met a horse as interested in people as Arabia, she simply does not want to miss out on any visitors and is always up for a new game. She is the most unusual horse I have ever met. It is a joy to be part of her unfolding as a support horse.
Flame
Flame is a 21-year-old pure Arab mare who has had 2 foals in her previous life. She is the grand dame of Equine Facilitated Learning; every visitor is falling in love with her. She is so smart, willing, warm, delicate and still that even hyperactive children are calming down, old trauma disappears out of grown-ups and many other conditions are shifting just being around her. Everyone deeply appreciates the lightness and surrender in which she follows and moves, on the lead just as much as in liberty work. She was literally born to offer healing and settlement to humans.
